Hopgarden House

Hopgarden House is a spacious contemporary house situated in a superb rural location and is ideal for a peaceful break or family activity holiday. The Hop Farm is a 35 minute drive, Lamberhurst Golf Course is 5 minutes drive, Scotney Castle and Lamberhurst Vineyard is 15 minute walk and Bewl Water is a mile away for walking, biking, trout fishing, canoeing, wind surfing & sailing. For walkers and nature lovers there is a public footpath a few yards from the front door leading into the surrounding countryside. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 En-suite bathrooms, First Floor Lounge, family bathroom, large fully equipped Kitchen/breakfast room, Patio Garden/BBQ. All linen and towels are provided. Parking is on the public roadway.

We are located 6 miles from the elegant Georgian Spa town of Royal Tunbridge wells with its impressive shopping facilities. 25 minutes from the historic towns of Battle, Hastings and 1066 country. Close to all major routes to London and cross channel routes to Europe. Easy access to M25 and 40 minutes from Gatwick Airport.

The village has a few shops within walking distance, several nice pubs, LAMBERHURST GOLF CLUB is a 5 minute drive, BEWL WATER is under a mile for trout fishing, water sports, biking, sailing and wonderful walks.

Eating out: There are several nice pubs in Lamberhurst it‘s a 5 minute walk into the village. There are several country pubs which serve excellent food, THE BROWN TROUT & THE SWAN are on the Green, a 15 minute walk and are especially recommended and 3 miles away at Cousley Wood is the VINE again serving excellent food and all cater for children. Lamberhurst also has a newly opened Italian Restaurant La Dolce Vita which is a 5 minute walk into the village.

Local Attractions: There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity BEWL WATER, LAMBERHURST VINEYARD and SCOTNEY CASTLE are only 10 minutes away. CHARTWELL the home of Winston Churchill is 30 minutes drive. If you have a car SISSINGHURST CASTLE, HEVER CASTLE, SQUERRYES COURT, IGHTHAM MOTE, KNOLE, EMMETTS GARDENS, The Hop Farm and Bedgebury National Pinetum are easy journeys.

Public Transport: Trains from Tunbridge Wells to the centre of London and the South Coast are very frequent from Tunbridge Wells MLS. Tonbridge Station is a 20 minute drive and will take you to the Heart of Kent Villages and Ashford International Station, There is a regular bus service the 256 from Tunbridge Wells to Lamberhurst and into Local villages like Wadhurst & Frant.
